The summer is drawing to a close, but we plan to celebrate every last moment of it at The Homestead Resort & Spa in Hot Springs, Virginia! The first weekend in our End of Summer Celebration kicks off on Friday, August 17 with our annual In The Garden extravaganza – three days filled with speakers, seminars, and spectacular scenery in the Allegheny Mountains!
Partnering with the American Horticultural Society for this annual event, The Homestead is proud to present a full weekend of special presentations by guest speakers like horticulturist Andre Viette. The weekend also includes a full schedule of events that features an afternoon tea, a “Meet the Speakers” reception, a lunch buffet, a wine tasting, and more. You can even take a guided walking tour of The Homestead’s magnificent gardens!
This year during In The Garden, we’ll also be hosting our first ever Taste of the Region cookout and concert. The whole family is invited to join us on the Casino Lawn for a barbeque and live music from the KOS Band, performing your favorite Motown, rock, R&B, and swing! We’ll also have local wineries and breweries on tap serving up $2 tastings of their best beverages.
