Whether you’ve never picked up a gun or you’re an expert marksman, our Virginia range offers challenges for shooters of all levels. Skeet shooting makes an exciting group activity for friends, colleagues, or groomsmen – it’s even a fun way to take a shot at romance!
Nowhere else will you find the diversified presentation of targets that The Homestead Gun Club offers, making this shooting range both widely admired and one of a kind. The Homestead features two sporting clay courses that are world famous for hosting the first NCSA US Open tournament in 1992 and gives shooters the simulated experience of a variety of game birds and rabbits on nearly a mile of wooded terrain.
You also can test your aim at one of four skeet fields, on the .22 rifle range, or on the trap and five stand course. The Homestead boasts a selection of guns that includes rifles, shotguns, and even Beretta auto-loaders and provides all the equipment you need, like ammunition and targets. You’ll also find vests and protective gear for your ears and eyes to ensure your comfort and safety at all times.
If you need help getting started or honing your skills, our NSCA-certified instructors are on hand with friendly tips or for private or group lessons. A private lesson is a great way to learn the basics or make specific improvements, while a group lesson for your bachelor party, professional conference, or college reunion will be one of the highlights of your event!
